Common questions

What to know before treatment

These answers provide general information. Our medical team confirms whether treatment is appropriate for you.

Is IV therapy safe?

IV therapy is generally well tolerated when it is medically screened and administered by trained professionals. Every visit begins with a health review, and our staff uses sterile, single-use supplies.

What side effects can IV therapy cause?

Possible side effects include temporary discomfort, bruising, swelling, or irritation at the IV site. Less common risks include infection, allergic reaction, fluid overload, or electrolyte imbalance.

Who should not get IV therapy?

IV therapy may not be appropriate for everyone, including some people with heart or kidney disease, fluid restrictions, certain allergies or medical conditions, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. We review your history and medications first.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours, and you can also reserve a time online.

How long does a visit take?

Most IV visits take about 30–45 minutes after your screening and consultation.

Do you accept insurance, HSA, or FSA?

We do not accept insurance. We do accept eligible HSA and FSA cards. Eligibility and reimbursement depend on your plan.
